Crayon Dripped Pumpkin
Put away the knives and break out the crayons and start decorating those pumpkins for Halloween.
Coloring scary scenes is one option, but creating a multicolored cap for your pumpkin is sure to get some attention and add a bit of colorful flare to your fall décor.
Purchase a real or faux pumpkin for decorating. Wipe the surface clean and allow to it to dry, before you start decorating.
Gather crayons, glue, a hairdryer and plastic covering for your workspace. Cover the table to keep things clean. Remove the labels from the crayons and break in half.
Glue the crayons to the top of the pumpkin. One end should butt up against the pumpkin’s stem and the other end pointing away from the center. Glue the crayons in place to prevent them from rolling off the pumpkin.
Use your hair dryer to melt the crayons. They’ll drip down the side of the pumpkin creating a colorful waxy covering.

A bit more information: Get the most out of your pumpkin patch with proper harvesting and storing. And put those rotten pumpkins to work after the holidays. Add them to your compost pile where they will be turned into soil amendments for the garden.
