Raspberries Have White Sunken Spots

This year many of our raspberries had white sunken spots. What caused this? Should we be spraying the plants?

The problem is weather related so no sprays are needed. This disorder is called "White Druplet Disorder". It occurs when the berries are exposed to high temperatures and sunlight during their development. This should not be a problem in most seasons.
