Morning Glory Did Not Come True From Seed

Two years ago I grew a variety of different colored morning glories.  I collected seeds from the plants and used them in last year's garden. Only two colors returned.

Offspring of hybrid plants do not come true from seed.  This means they may take on some but not all characteristics of each of their parents. The more dominant features or colors are the ones that are most commonly seen in the offspring. Use purchased seeds to insure you get the flower mix you desire or enjoy the surprise that grows from collected seeds.
