Keep English Ivy Looking Good
How do I keep my English ivy looking good?
Though tolerant of lower light English ivy performs best indoors when grown in a bright sunny window. Water thoroughly and often enough to keep the soil moist, not wet. Watch for signs of spider mites. These pests suck plant juices causing a speckling, browning or distortion of the leaves. An occasional shower of water will help keep these pests under control. If an outbreak occurs you will need several weekly applications of insecticidal soap or Neem. Fertilize March through November to encourage growth or if the plants need a nutrient boost.
