Double Flowered Daffodil
Several years ago, I noticed yellow flowers popping up all over our yard. They appear at the same time as our daffodils. While they looked similar, the flowers had at least double the amount of petals. Can you tell me what they are?
This is a double-flowered daffodil. Relatively new to the gardening scene these daffodils require the same care as the traditional daffodil but provide a different look in the garden. A squirrel may have transplanted a couple of these into your yard. Once planted, they started to grow and multiply. Natural mutations can also cause this change in the flower. Enjoy the nice surprise, no matter how it arrived.
