Bring ET Fingers home to one of your sunny windowsills. This unique jade plant variety is sure to command a second glance from family and friends.

One look at the leaves and you’ll see the inspiration for its name. The leaves are tubular, light green and fleshy with red tinged suction cups at the end – reminiscent of ET’s fingers.

Like other succulents it needs bright light and a well-draining cacti and succulent potting mix. Water thoroughly when the top few inches of soil are dry.  ET Fingers like other succulents prefer a bit drier soil and cooler temperatures for winter.

With the proper growing conditions, you just may be rewarded with white star shaped flowers in winter.

As the plant grows, it can become top heavy compared to its relatively small root system. Use a heavy pot to prevent the plant from toppling over.

A bit more information: The small leaves and stout gnarly trunk make this a good candidate for bonsai. Plants can be slow growing and need minimal pruning or a bit faster and require more regular training.
