  • Spreads by seed and by rhizomes to form large colonies

  • Avoid moist, fertile locations in the garden to avoid sprawling plants
  • Plants can be cut back hard if the foliage is sprawled out or becomes unkempt

Crown rot if grown in moist, poorly drained soils
