AAS 2021 Gold Medal Winner Profusion Red Yellow Bicolor Zinnia

It’s never too early to start planning next year’s garden. Be sure to include some All-America Selections winners that are tested and proven to perform well in home gardens.

Profusion Red Yellow Bicolor Zinnia is a 2021 National Gold Medal winner. Its small flowers start the season with a bold vibrant red center surrounded by golden yellow outer petals. The flowers age to soft shades of apricot, salmon and dusty rose. You’ll add a plethora of color to gardens and containers with this one zinnia.

The plant produces an abundance of flowers on a compact 15” plant. Since new flowers emerge over top of old blossoms it maintains its overall beauty throughout the season.

Like other Profusion zinnias it is heat, rain, and wind resistant. Grow it in full sun with well-drained soil for best results.

A bit more information: 60 days from seed to flower, 30 days from transplant to flower – see How to Grow tips on starting these seeds indoors from seed.
