2022 AAS Winner Concert Bell Sunflower

Grow an instant bouquet on each stem of Concert Bell Sunflower.

This 2022 All-America selections Winner was tested nationally, proven locally, and selected for its performance in home gardens.  Concert Bell produces clusters of 10 to 12 flowers on each 5- to 6-foot-tall strong stem. The 5 to 6” inch diameter flowers are gold with a dark brown center.

Start planting seeds in the garden after the last spring frost. Space seeds 13 to 15 inches apart and protect from hungry birds as needed. Make several additional plantings at 3-week intervals for midsummer through fall flowering.

Like other sunflowers, grow Concert bell in full sun and well-drained soil. It is heat and wind tolerant, pollinator friendly and makes an easy to grow addition to the garden.

A bit more information: Concert Bell Sunflower has excellent seed germination and performed well despite strong winds and storms that occurred during the trial period.
