Star-of-Bethlehem

What can you tell me about Star-of-Bethlehem?  A friend gave me a clump and I would love more.

Star-of Bethlehem or Ornithogalum umbellatum is a lovely late spring bloomer.  If you wait a few years you will probably have more than you need and enough to share with others.  Their bulbs multiply rapidly and also reproduce by seed.  They are often a bit too assertive in the garden so plant with care.  Their bright white flowers light up the garden and these tough plants tolerate full sun to partial shade and droughty conditions.
