Sparce Flowering of Calla Lily
This spring I planted 10 calla lilies. The plants are beautiful but only one of them blossomed. They are growing in good dark soil with afternoon sun. What did I do wrong?
Extremely hot summer weather can result in poor flowering for many plants. The hot west exposure may have added to this problem. Next year try starting the callas indoors and planting them outdoors in a partially shaded location. An east exposure will give them ample sunlight and a cooler location.
