Soil-Conditioner.jpg

Soil Conditioner

I received 2 bottles of a soil conditioner called Super Grow. On the bottle it states that it consists of a concentrated solution of naturally fermented enzymes and contains nitrogen. It claims to aerate and oxygenate the soil and root system and is ideal for all indoor and outdoor plants and shrubs. It says it has a guaranteed analysis of 2-0-0. The two would be the nitrogen correct and I should keep it away from my trumpet vines and morning glories? Any other luxury feeders I need to know about?

I have not used the Super Grow but 2% is a low level of nitrogen that should not cause problems with any of your plants. You are right, trumpet vines and morning glories as well as a few other flowers like cosmos flower better or flop less with limited amounts of nitrogen. Unless they show signs of nitrogen deficiencies (yellowing leaves and stunted growth) continue to mulch with compost or organic materials to provide needed nutrients and avoid using quick release and high nitrogen fertilizer near these luxury feeders.
