Kiwi Not Producing Fruit

I purchased a male and female hardy kiwi plant 7 years ago.  The plants are doing great but have never bore fruit.  What am I doing wrong?

Do the plants flower in the spring?  A lack of flowers can be caused by over fertilization or lack of sun.  Kiwis need full sun for best results.   Too much nitrogen interferes with flower and fruit production.  If this is the case reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer you are using.  A soil test will tell you what type and how much fertilizer you should use.  If the plants are flowering we need to make sure you have a male and female plant.  One of the original plants may have died or you were accidentally sold two plants of the same sex. Check the dictionary or a gardening book for a picture of the male and female flower parts.  Now look closely at the flowers.   The female flowers have a swollen base and vase like structure inside.  The male flower has a straight stem and a center full of pin like structures.  If one of the sexes is missing, you won't get fruit.
