Growing Virginia Bluebells

I cannot find the name of this plant. It blooms in spring & is a perennial. I thought it was Blue Lungwort, but the leaves are not the same. Can you please identify and provide additional info on this plant? I believe this was from my mother’s flowerbed after she passed away.

This blooming beauty is Virginia bluebells or Virginia cowslip, known botanically as Mertensia virginica. It is hardy in Zones 3 to 9. It prefers part to full shade and cool, moist organically rich soils. You can find it sold in the marketplace as a live plant or as a tuberous root.

Virginia bluebells reach a height of 12 to 24 inches and a width of 12 to 18 inches. Because its foliage dies back by mid-summer, position it in the garden where other plants will fill the void after it goes dormant.
