Flowers Dropping Off Tomato Plants

How do I keep the blooms from dropping off my tomato plants?

Temperature extremes are often the cause. Exceptionally hot (above 95 degrees) or cold (below 55 degrees) temperatures can prevent fruit formation. Drought can lead to blossom drop on any plant. Mulch the soil around your tomatoes to keep the soil cool and moist. Water thoroughly and whenever the top few inches of soil are crumbly and moist. We can’t control the temperature but we can give nature a hand. Try blossom set, available at most garden centers, when the plants flower but fail to bloom during hot and cold spells.
