Do Not Mix Daffodils with Other Cut Flowers
I heard you should not mix daffodils with other cut flowers. Is this true?
Yes. Cut daffodils exude a slimy substance into the water. This plugs the cut end of other flowers preventing them from absorbing water. Avoid the problem by displaying your daffodils in a vase of their own.
