Cats-in-the-Garden---THUMB.jpg

Cats in the Garden

Do you have any suggestions for keeping my neighbors cats out of my garden. They are digging up the mulch and destroying the garden.

As with any animal problem you may need to use a combination of management strategies to get the problem under control. The makers of Liquid fence have a Dog and Cat Repellent. It is made of natural plant products and is safe to use around people and pets and won’t harm the environment. Frequent applications will be needed initially to break the cat’s habit of visiting your garden. Over time you should be able to reduce the application frequency. Read and follow all label directions. The Mini scarecrow is a motion sensitive scare device that uses sound and compressed air to keep cats away. Check with your local garden center, garden catalogues or on-line for these products.
