Pelargonium
Pelargonium ‘Black Magic Rose’ is a 2002 All American Selection Winner with unique black foliage edged in green and bright rose colored flowers. ‘Freckles’ has been a long time favorite for its bright rose-pink flowers with a small white center. The Orbit series is an early blooming, large flowered type that comes in white, pink, orange or red. Though an annual many gardeners overwinter the plants indoors. New plants can be started from cuttings or the whole plant can be brought indoors and grown like a houseplant. Some gardeners even have success digging up the plants and storing them in a cool dark location for the winter.
