Diascia needs a sunny window or artificial lights and a cool location for best results. Water when the top few inches of the soil just starts to dry. Wait until the plant has fully adapted to its indoor environment before adding fertilizer. Use a dilute solution of any flowering houseplant fertilizer as needed. Trim back leggy plants throughout the winter. Use these trimmings to start new plants for next summer’s garden. Root cuttings in vermiculite or a well-drained potting mix. Once rooted pot up and grow in a cool brightly-lit location.
