Burning Bush

I have a burning bush in my yard that isn’t growing so well. Is there any thing I can do to help it along?
BurningBushNotWell250px.jpgBurning bush (Euonymus alatus) when sited correctly, has few pests problems. It prefers full sun but will tolerate shade. Well-drained soils are a must for good growth. Poor drainage can lead to decline and even death of the plant. Excess shade can lead to sparse growth and poor or no fall color. Check out the growing conditions and, if needed, move the plant to a more suitable location. Improve drainage in shrub beds by incorporating several inches of organic matter throughout the planting bed and into the top 12 inches of soil. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers that can damage already stressed plants and reduce fall color. And if replacement is needed consider selecting a noninvasive shrub as its replacement.
