Spring Garden Tips
Starting From Seed
Starting plants from seeds indoors is a great way to extend the season.  Save money and resources by reusing old flats, cell paks and containers.  Check your shed, garage and basement for these items.  Call gardening friends and relative who probably have plenty to share.  Wash the containers in a one part bleach and 9 part water solution to kill any disease organisms that may be lingering on the containers.  Rinse with clear water and they are ready to use.
