Spring Garden Tips
Controlling Weeds

Start controlling next year’s weed crop now. Simply pulling one weed before it sets seed can prevent hundreds of weeds in next year’s landscape. Start weeding as the first weeds break ground in spring and keep going until the season ends. Add a layer of shredded leaves, herbicide-free grass clippings or other organic matter to prevent weed seeds in the ground from sprouting.
